The Village Hall goes Green! |

The trustees have accepted an estimate to install a 10kw array of photovoltaic solar panels on the main roof of the village hall (at the top of the slope that goes down to the front door).
Even with the recent reductions in the feed-in tariffs, the investment is expected to generate both significant income and a substantial saving on our energy bills.
Subject to planning permission, the work is expected to begin the week beginning 13 February 2012 and should cause minimal disruption to hall users.

The Village Hall are pleased to announce the completion of works to the Onyx Craft Room, involving the fitting of sound-proofing tiles to the ceiling.
This has greatly reduced the echoing in the room and should be much more pleasant for groups to work in. |

BROCKENHURST NEEDLEWORK FIESTA |

The 2011 Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta was a great success with embroiderers from far and wide enjoying a wonderful display of goodies to buy.
